The purpose behind this semi-private group is the coordination of bug reports involving some aspect of a Drupal install. Current customers with a Drupal install, or partners with Design Works Internet, should join this group so as to be informed about patches and updates as they occur. This is also the venue where bug reports found within such installs should be reported.
While this group is shown in our registration form and directory, we do screen those wishing to join. This is for security reasons as discussion here could reveal vulnerabilities within sites before they can be corrected. For the same reason, new group topic posts will be moderated (hidden) until it is considered safe for them to be seen by others.

A number of patches for all Drupal installs occured today, involving the organic groups (OG) system, birthdays, print, and webforms. I had delayed the install of these patches for a few days, as I had thought the final release for the FCKeditor would be out by now. That appears to have been delayed. If duplicate notifications are still occuring on any install or if other bugs should be noticed, please submit bug reports to the dedicated work group.

The OG (Organic Groups) system in use on this site is about to undergo a major revision, however this has been delayed as a number of subsidiary modules must also be updated. As this site is the only one currently using that system, that will be all that will be said on that subject here.

A number of add-on modules used within Drupal installs were patched to day. These being: Admin Menu, Moderation System, Print & E-mail, and User Stats. Issues with the Notification System documented in the Bug Reports Workgroup are still ongoing. I encourage anyone getting unwanted notices to report such issues to me, and/or resort to turning notifications and subscriptions off until this matter is resolved.

A minor patch version, which should be the final RC (release candidate) for the editor in use on all installs was executed today. There were a number of bug-fixes included in this one that I had noticed, but - so far - had not been reported here. More on this can be read here. Offical full version on that should be out within a week, assuming no major bugs turn up!

Bug-fix patches for both the Administration menu (visible only to those in that role) and the Print, e-mail, and PDF generation modules were carried out today. Some new capabilities added to the Print, e-mail, and PDF generation module, whereby blocks for Most printed, Most e-mailed and Most PDFd can now be defined.

Due to multiple vulnerablities detected in the core system of Drupal, a bug-fix install was carried out on all installs on Sunday, January 18, 2009. As per usual, complete backups were made to all installations prior to the upgrade. Thus far, no issues have been reported with module conflicts, etc.
